Takes on dowry through an emotional, relatable love story.
A son risks everything to prove that a pure heart is worth more than a dowry.

A kind-hearted government clerk falls in love with an honest, simple woman. His greedy father agrees to the marriage only for a large dowry — so the son gives up his savings and ancestral land to buy a love that should have been priceless.
Shivansh Kumar Shukla, 35, is a disciplined clerk in the Prayagraj Electricity Department. His father Dayashankar — stubborn, materialistic — sees his son’s government job as a path to wealth and marriage as a matter of dowry and status. Shivansh privately longs for true love. Then Aadya Srivastava walks in about a wrong electricity bill, and a quiet, sincere romance begins.
Dayashankar spots the couple in a Prayagraj market. Shivansh confesses his love. Fury turns to greed once Dayashankar learns Aadya’s family is respectable: he will allow the marriage only if her father pays a large dowry. Ashok Srivastava, honest and proud, refuses — his daughter cannot be bought.
With his loyal friend Inspector Jairam, Shivansh borrows, empties his savings and finally mortgages his ancestral land — the foundation of his family’s honour — to meet the dowry himself. Dayashankar, delighted, blesses the union, unaware of his son’s sacrifice. But love bought with greed cannot escape tragedy.
